Born on the 24th of March in 1993 in Connecticut – USA, Chuma Nwokike (a.k.a. Hoodini), is a Nigerian hip-hop recording artist and record producer. He spent his early years in the city of Abuja, Nigeria and at the age of 13, drawing inspiration from Kanye West, he developed a fondness for music and other forms of creative art, such as fine art, where he won various accolades as a young artist in drawing and painting.
In 2010, Hoodini released his first mix tape as a recording artist titled “Vaudeville”. The mix tape immediately grabbed the attention of fans boasting of production from worldwide producers such as UK based SlickMo, US based producer, G-LO, and Nigeria’s very own VC Perez.
Later that year, Hoodini decided to pursue a B Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering in the highly prestigious Cooper Union University in New York. After a year, Hoodini decided to pursue his dreams of a musical career and enrol in Full Sail University where he is currently majoring in Recording Art/ Audio Engineering.
Hoodini is also currently putting together his debut album, details of which would be made available as he progresses on the project. he was one of the 10 finalists on the Don Jazzy #enigma beat competition,..Listen up to his single.
